The new pilot drama on CBS Tuesday night, “The Googoodwifed Wife” is Good!

Julianna Margulies plays the wife of convicted sex scandal Illinois states attorney.  While he is spending his days incarcerated she’s getting back into the criminal scene as a defense attorney.  Her first case is a make it or break it one for her.  She’s been out of the practice for twelve years and her age, plus her husbands very public scandal makes her job that much more difficult.

With all the “real” politician sex scandals we have seen lately, I always wonder about the wife.  The wife who stands behind her man at the news conference and takes his hand to promise to get through this together.  I’m not sure I could be that wife who stood by her man!  I don’t think Julianna Margulies’ character is either.  She makes it very clear to her husband that nothing will ever be the same again!  The show should get very interesting as her life moves on and his moves nowhere while he sits behind bars.

The show was good, but as a pilot series it always makes me nervous to get too attached.  I may think its good, but the rest of the viewers may not.  So my new found friend on Tuesday nights may only be short lived.  Hopefully, the reverse is true with this one!

If you missed the show, check it out online.

I actually watched and enjoyed the show this way in the comforts of my hotel room!

I will have to watch this one online as I didn't record it. Wasn't sure I was going to like it. Wonder if it will be short lived like the one Gina Davis was in. I can't remember the name of it. But I loved it.
