Super Why! is another wonderful PBS Kids literacy based show. It’s aimed at pre-readers and early readers, with the characters also in the different stages. Each episode features well-known fairy tale characters including Pigof the Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood (Red), The Princess and the Pea, and a special new character, Whyatt, the little brother of Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.
Each episode finds the four friends flying into a story of another character and help fix problems. Sometimes it takes rewriting the story, guiding the viewers in problem solving and finding the correct words to fit the context of the story.
The website not only has episodes to watch, but activities that match up with episodes that you can do with your child.
