I can’t believe they make us wait a whole week until the next episode of Brothers and Sisters on ABC Sundays at 10 p.m. I guess I made it 4 months from the season finale, but still a whole week seems like eternity!
The season premiere was filled with laughter, fighting, drinking, and drama just like every show is. There isn’t a show that goes by without lots of drinking and public family fights. I think that’s what I love about it! It makes my family events look normal!
The premier started out with Justin and Rebecca driving to their first picnic since their engagement. All of a sudden it seems as though they get into a serious accident before the show jumps back 48 hours. Now we have to wait until the end to see if they really did get in a car accident! The show focuses on Justin and Rebecca’s engagement party and all the stresses that go along with it. How much more stress and awkwardness could come from Justin and Rebecca getting married? At one point in time the Walker family thought Rebecca was their sister from their fathers affairs with her mother. Or the fact that Justin’s mom has to deal with her husband’s mistress (Holly) now for the duration of the kid’s marriage. The weirdness of it all is almost too complicated to even explain!
So we have the party where everyone fights and leaves mad at each other. Scotty and Kevin thinking about getting a surrogate to have their baby, but Scotty deciding it’s too quick for him. Then we have Kitty and Robert fighting about their marriage and to end the show terrible news that Kitty is very sick. We don’t know how sick, but by the previews from next weeks show, it looks bad. Bad enough that I was already crying!!! Oh and it ends with Rebecca and Justin NOT getting in a bad accident! PHEW! I don’t know if I could handle that, plus the bad Kitty news. I know it’s a lot for an hour how, but its sow worth the watch.
