In my house no matter what time of day it is, I hear “Mommy, Go Diego Go!” My son watches Diego ALOT!! He can’t say all of his words yet, but he can say “Go Diego Go” for sure!
I was glad, before he was even born, that Nick Jr. came out with a boy adventurer, because my nephew was watching too much Dora. So when they introduced her cousin, Diego, I was happy for all the little boys out there. I had no idea my son would one day be one of them.
We have Diego & the Dinosaurs, Diego & the Wolf Pups, Diego & the Underwater Adventure. We just got the newly released Diego & the Arctic Rescue. I think we may be leaning towards being Diego for Halloween. You see we are on total Diego overload in my house. The songs are surely catchy- especially when he calls for his rescue pack. That is actually my favorite song these days!!!
Rosie Perez is the voice of Diego’s camera “Click” and it’s funny to hear her and her cute little voice & accent (it’s actually not annoying like some of the characters she has played).
The good thing about Diego is that is does teach many animal facts, so that if my son wants to be a vet or an adventurer he is starting young learning about marine, rain forest and arctic animals.
My husband speaks Spanish but didn’t teach our son, like I wanted him to. So, at least Diego has somewhat filled that role by teaching some Spanish words.
So thank you to Diego- you are obviously approved for viewing in my house! Alrescate’ Amigo! Vamos Diego! (thats my spanish lesson for you readers!!)

I also like Diego. I like the focus on animals in the show. My daughter loves animals and water. The first show she saw was with penguins and she was mesmerized. She wanted to watch it again but it was before the dvr came to our home. She was so sad it was over.

My boys are a little old for Diego, but nephew isn't. I will have to watch it with him the next time he's over.
