The Bachelor: I Don’t Buy It & I’m Glad Jake Didn’t Either
I didn’t buy Ali’s ‘terrible decision’ one bit when it happened. It just felt like such a put on.
It’s not that I don’t believe that she had serious pressure to go back to work. I just felt like she knew her decision before she went to talk to Jake and was just putting on a big show of being conflicted. It felt like a lot of crocodile tears and fake hysteria.
I groaned with pain when she called back later to ask to come back and I’m glad Jake didn’t let her.
I know there’s scuttlebutt about Ali being the next Bachelorette but I sure hope not…
Sex Scandal And Lies – The Bachelor Starts Off With A Bang
January 16, 2010 by Tishia Lee · Comments
I finally had some free time to sit down and watch the last two week’s of The Bachelor. Wow! I was going to recap the season premiere but let’s cut to the chase and talk about the second show. In all the seasons I’ve ever watched The Bachelor I’ve never seen it kick off with a bang like this!
I knew I didn’t like Rosayln from the get go for a reason! But I still had to pull my jaw up off the ground when Chris pulled her aside before the second rose ceremony (mind you she had already been given a rose by Jake on one of the dates so she was safe from elimination!) to talk to her about her ‘inappropriate relationship’ with one of their staffers – or should I say ex staff member? I was floored that she acted like it was no big deal. I felt so bad for Jake as he talked to all the girls about the situation. He seems so genuine and sweet. I actually found myself tearing up!
I love The Bachelor!
I can’t imagine what the rest of the season will have in store for us. Then again there’s nothing that can top this!

Totally Talented Tuesday: Jimmy Fallon
November 3, 2009 by Traci Price · Comments
Today I decided to participate in a blog meme called “Totally Talented Tuesday”. Since this blog is mainly about television, and in my case Reality TV, I wanted to show you someone I think is the most talented comedian around.
I have loved Jimmy Fallon since his very early days. I used to watch him on Saturday Night Live every week but as most of you know, once you become a parent the late nights seem to be reserved only for sleep or feedings. Jimmy’s new show “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” is still too late for me to watch but I have been able to catch up on Hulu.
This parody he has started doing on “The Real Housewives” series cracks me up everytime I see it. I hope you enjoy Jimmy Fallon’s Talent.
Real Housewives Reunion Show: Part 1
November 1, 2009 by Traci Price · Comments
Bravo TV aired the part 1 episode of “The Real Housewives – Atlanta” on Thursday night @ 10pm. Needless to say there were many viewer questions that host Andy Cohen had to read through and despite his repeated attempts at getting the girls fired up, they seemed to be very unexcited about it all.
Kim & NeNe claim to have buried the hatchet.
I’m not so sure I believe them (they both looked a little demure), but if this is the case then ‘Que Sera Sera’. I speak from experience when I say that it takes too much energy to stay mad at someone & if you’re gonna have to work together then you might as well be civil, right? Read more
Link Love: GSPN.TV
October 29, 2009 by Traci Price · Comments
My link love posts usually consists of at least 3 links of sites that I like or have discovered over the past few weeks. This week I have to devote this entire post to only ONE link.
I must spread the word about a family that I have been listening to for over 3 years. I discovered their Grey’s Anatomy Fan podcast first. I would listen every week and totally agreed with a lot of views they had about the show. Then I started listening to “The Full Time Mom” podcast.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about these two ladies. I listen to their voices and hear their deep friendship and their love of their husbands & children and it just “calms” me. As a full time mom myself I am able to relate with most everything they talk about. I feel like I know Stephanie Ravenscraft & Sarah Rader, I feel like they are friends.
Clif & Stephanie have several other podcasts within their gspn.tv community including but not limited to “Family From The Heart”, “The Full Time Mom”, “Grey’s Anatomy Fan Podcast”, “Private Practice Fan Podcast”, “Biggest Loser Fan Podcast” & the new “TV Talk Podcast”
I am such a fan of this couple and their respective co-hosts that I have become an official Plus Member in their “community” tonight!
Flipping Out Reunion Show
October 29, 2009 by Traci Price · Comments
Jeff Lewis’ Valley Oak residence was the stage for Tuesday night’s “Flipping Out” season 3 reunion show, hosted by Andy Cohen. Jeff began this reunion show with much sarcasm, which I have come to understand takes place in order to cover his emotions. He admitted that he didn’t want to do the reunion show but felt that he needed to in order to gain a 4th season from Bravo. He joked about needing a 4th season in order to finally alienate his remaining family & friends.
Andy brought up a lot of subjects while recapping this season.
- What cocktail of medications is he currently taking? None & he has never been on any meds.
- Is he single? No. He has been dating someone for just under a year.
- Does he really ban people from going #2 in his house? He doesn’t “ban” it, but he really discourages it, he usually instigates a campaign of embarrassment for the individual who chooses to relieve himself in his house.
- Why does every team lunch have to have a “sacrificial lamb“? Jeff really likes to tease relentlessly and usually chooses one person during the morning to single out at lunchtime. He sees no problem with it since the rest of the staff really enjoys the teasing episodes.
We were able to see a few “never before seen clips” from Flipping Out. In the first clip Jenni & Jeff were driving and Jeff drives straight into her driveway. Surprise!, it took him 10 months to figure it out but he finally put the pieces together. He teased Jenni with a famous line “it’s like the firm, you can never leave”.
The real highlight of this reunion show was the confrontation between Jeff Lewis & Ryan Brown. Read more

So You Think You Can Dance: Top 20
October 27, 2009 by Traci Price · Comments
So You Think You Can Dance aired it’s pre competition exhibition on Monday night @ 8pm on Fox. They created this special show to showcase the top 20 dancers and their talent before the actual competition begins.
The opening number was all 20 dancing together in a retro jazz club kind of number. Simply Amazing.
Hip Hop Dancers
Russell Ferguson, Kevin Hunte & Jonathan “Legacy” Perez: It was completely amazing that these guys just recently met each other. They look like they have been dancing together for years. There was a lot of break dancing and acrobatics, a very exciting performance!
Contemporary Dancers
Channing Cooke, Jakob Karr, Ariana Debose, Nathan Trasoras: They wanted us to open our hearts to their form of dance and after watching it, how could we not?? WOW!!! Unbelieveable performance. The choreographer really knew how to play to the dancers strengths. All the moves were timed to perfection and they really dramatized the song. Read more
Atlanta Housewives Season Finale
October 23, 2009 by Traci Price · Comments
Atlanta finishes with a “Bam!” Of course I’m talking about The Real Housewives series on Bravo.
Sheree
She by Sheree finally had it’s day! A full year after the first “preview” of her fashion line (the show that had no clothes), Sheree debuted her coveted clothing line at a fashion show that was produced by Dwight. The show went off without a hitch mainly due to Dwight’s hard work.
This episode showed Sheree patting herself on the back when it was clear that Dwight and his crew had put in all of the hard work. Maybe Dwight should come out with his own fashion line next year.
Lisa
Ed hasn’t been picked up by another football team yet so he approaches Lisa with the idea of “downsizing”. They still own what is lovingly referred to as his “bachelor pad” so he wants to move there. Lisa explains that she is a “team player” and will go along with it but already plans to start remodeling as soon as they move in.
Did I mention that this “downsize” involves an estate looking home on 9.5 acres?
With all of the remodeling she is talking about it sounds like Ed would spend less money just staying in the home they are in now. We’ll see how next year goes. Lisa attended Sheree’s fashion show and was on time & dressed for the occasion. Kudos to Lisa for being the bigger person. Sheree might want to take notes.
Kandi
I was so happy to see that Kandi’s mother had finally come around and had a talk with AJ. She explained to him at the mother’s day BBQ that she had noticed how happy Kandi is when she is with him and that is all she ever wanted for her daughter. Unfortunately the show did not cover why AJ & Kandi eventually called off their engagement. The show said in the closing credits that Kandi has thrown herself into her work since the unexpected death of her former fiance AJ. Her album should be coming out soon.
Kim
She confided in Kandi about this huge blow out she had with NeNe. She was telling Kandi about how she ran into NeNe very unexpectedly and NeNe approached her again about being included in the song “Tardy For The Party”. Things must have heated up quite a bit because according to Kim they were both screaming at each other and NeNe got right up in her face and then grabbed her neck and tried to choke her. After she broke away from NeNe’s grip she said that NeNe was pointing her finger in her face and she slapped it away. After the incident she called the police:
